POSITION OVERVIEW
The Logistics Manager oversees BravoZulu’s end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement support, warehousing, transport, and distribution. This role ensures compliance with Canadian regulations, DND/NATO standards, and host nation . The Logistics Manager will lead planning and execution of logistics for domestic and deployed projects, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of mission support services.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
Canadian citizenship (mandatory for deployment and clearance).
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or .
3+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in defence, humanitarian, or international contracting contexts.
Knowledge of Canadian transport regulations, TDG, customs, and import/export processes.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Eligible for Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
Desirable:
Professional certification (e.g., P.Log., SCMP, APICS/CPIM, or equivalent).
Prior experience with CAF, DND, NATO, or international NGOs.
Experience in austere or deployed environments.
Familiarity with NATO movement control and military logistics systems.
Bilingualism (English/French).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Coordination
Develop and manage logistics plans for Canada-based and deployed operations.
Coordinate the movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies into and within operational theatres.
Support mobilization and demobilization planning for deployments.
Transport & Distribution
Oversee road, air, and sea transport operations.
Ensure compliance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and international shipping requirements.
Manage convoy planning and liaison with host nation/NATO movement control
Warehousing & Inventory
Manage warehousing, storage, and distribution centres in Canada and abroad.
Maintain inventory control systems, including spare parts, rations, and mission-essential supplies.
Implement stock rotation, security, and quality control measures.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure logistics operations comply with Canadian regulations, DND/NATO standards, and export control laws.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and audit-ready documentation.
Oversee environmental and safety compliance in logistics operations.
Leadership & Vendor Management
Supervise logistics teams and subcontractors.
Evaluate and manage vendor performance for transport, freight forwarding, and warehousing services.
Provide training in logistics processes, safety, and compliance.
