BravoZulu is a Canadian mission-support company delivering logistics, infrastructure, fleet, and personnel services for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), NATO, and allied organizations.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The QC Manager will design, implement, and oversee BravoZulu’s Quality Control Program across Canada-based and deployed operations. This role is responsible for establishing QC plans, conducting inspections and audits, tracking nonconformances, and ensuring that all deliverables meet client requirements, DND/NATO standards, and contractual obligations.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or . - 3+ years of QC/QA experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 other quality management systems.
Experience conducting inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
Familiarity with DND, NATO, or defence contract compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Eligible for Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
Desirable:
Certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.
Experience with ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (health and safety).
Previous defence, aerospace, or humanitarian logistics QC experience.
Bilingualism (English/French).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Management System (QMS)
Develop and maintain BravoZulu’s QC program aligned with ISO 9001 and defence contracting standards.
Create QC procedures, checklists, and documentation for projects and contracts.
Inspections & Audits
Conduct regular inspections of materials, services, and subcontractor work.
Lead internal audits and coordinate external client audits.
Identify deficiencies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to DND, NATO, Government of Canada contractual standards.
Maintain audit-ready documentation for all projects.
Track KPIs related to quality, safety, and compliance.
Training & Continuous Improvement
Provide training to staff and subcontractors on QC processes.
Promote a culture of quality and accountability.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain QC records, inspection logs, and audit reports.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients.
Support proposal teams by providing QC capacity statements and compliance history.
