POSITION OVERVIEW
The Transport & Fleet Manager oversees BravoZulu’s vehicle and transport operations in Canada and deployed theatres. This role includes managing fleet acquisition, maintenance, compliance, and logistics support for projects. The Manager will ensure BravoZulu’s fleet operations meet Canadian standards,
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, transportation management, or .
3+ years’ experience in fleet or transport management, preferably in defence, aid, or international operations.
Strong knowledge of Canadian transport regulations (CVOR, TDG, DOT).
Proven experience managing multi-vehicle fleets, maintenance programs, and driver compliance.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Eligible for Government of Canada Secret (Level II) Security Clearance.
Desirable:
Certification in Fleet Management, Logistics, or Transportation Safety.
Prior military or humanitarian logistics experience.
Familiarity with NATO movement control and convoy operations.
Experience with armored or specialized vehicles.
Bilingualism (English/French).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fleet Management & Operations
Oversee BravoZulu’s fleet of vehicles (light, heavy, armored, and support vehicles) in Canada and deployed operations.
Plan, schedule, and track vehicle use, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
Manage driver assignments, licensing, and compliance.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations (CVOR, TDG, DOT standards).
Align fleet operations with DND/CAF and NATO transport requirements.
Implement safety, inspection, and preventative maintenance programs.
Logistics Support
Coordinate transport of personnel, equipment, and supplies in Canada and deployed areas.
Support movement control and convoy planning in theatre.
Liaise with host nation, NATO, and partner transport/logistics authorities.
Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate fleet records: maintenance logs, fuel usage, insurance, and licensing.
Monitor fleet costs and prepare reports for leadership and clients.
Manage vendor relationships for leasing, maintenance, and procurement.
Leadership & Training
Supervise drivers, mechanics, and transport coordinators.
Provide training in defensive driving, convoy procedures, and compliance standards.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and efficiency.
