POSITION OVERVIEW
The Supply Chain Manager will lead BravoZulu’s procurement and logistics functions, managing the full supply chain lifecycle from sourcing to delivery in both Canada and deployed theatres. This role ensures compliance with Canadian procurement regulations, DND/NATO standards, and international trade rules while building a resilient, mission-ready supply chain.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Science, or equivalent corporate/field management experience.
5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain operations.
Strong knowledge of Canadian and international trade compliance.
Experience with supply chains in defence, humanitarian, or international contracting environments.
Proficiency in supply chain software/ERP systems, inventory management, and reporting tools.
Eligible for Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
Desirable:
Supply Chain Canada (CSCMP) or APICS/CPIM certification.
Experience with NATO/NSPA procurement and logistics frameworks.
Prior military, humanitarian, or expeditionary logistics experience.
Familiarity with ISO 28000 (Supply Chain Security) standards.
Bilingualism (English/French).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement & Sourcing
Develop procurement strategies aligned with Canadian and NATO contracting requirements.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with Canadian government, DND, and NATO procurement frameworks.
Logistics & Distribution
Oversee warehousing, inventory, and material distribution in Canada and abroad.
Manage international shipments, customs clearance, and export/import compliance.
Coordinate movement of supplies into deployed environments, ensuring secure and timely delivery.
Supply Chain Operations
Implement supply chain tracking systems and KPIs for cost, quality, and timeliness.
Maintain supplier performance metrics and conduct risk assessments.
Optimize processes to ensure resilience against disruptions.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
Maintain compliance with export controls, sanctions, and NATO standards.
Provide documentation and reporting for audits, tenders, and client reviews.
Leadership & Coordination
Supervise supply chain staff and contractors.
Provide training on procurement, compliance, and logistics standards.
Collaborate with project managers, finance, and deployed teams to ensure supply chain readiness.
