The Deployed Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing BravoZulu’s deployed operations in direct support of CAF and NATO missions. This role requires exceptional leadership, adaptability, and resilience. The Project Manager will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, ensure operational compliance, and act as the primary link between deployed operations, host nation stakeholders, and BravoZulu headquarters.

Essential:

• Canadian citizenship (mandatory for deployment eligibility). 

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in project management, engineering, logistics, international development, business administration, or . - Minimum 5 years of project management experience in defence, humanitarian, construction, logistics, or emergency response sectors. 

• Proven leadership of teams in international, expeditionary, or high-stress environments. 

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and subcontractors. 

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with diverse stakeholders. 

• Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) Security Clearance. 

• Ability to pass pre-deployment medical, fitness, and psychological screening. 

Desirable: 

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification. 

• Previous military service or experience supporting CAF, DND, NATO, or allied operations. 

• Familiarity with Canadian and NATO procurement, logistics, and operational frameworks. 

• Bilingualism (English/French) or proficiency in other NATO languages. 

• Experience working with international contractors, NGOs, or government agencies in conflict or post-conflict environments.

• Lead end-to-end deployment operations, from mobilization planning to demobilization.

• Manage on-the-ground teams, ensuring operational readiness, performance, and welfare.

• Coordinate logistics, infrastructure support, and service delivery under dynamic conditions.

• Liaise with CAF, NATO, host nation officials, and local partners to align objectives.

• Monitor, control, and report on budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables.

• Enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security protocols.

• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans in high-pressure environments. 

• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting to clients and BravoZulu HQ.

• Build cohesion within multinational and multicultural teams, promoting a mission-first mindset.
